Welcome to the Lepanto Hotel

Lepanto Hotel receives its name from the historic Battle of Lepanto, the naval encounter between the Christian allied forces and the Turkish-Ottoman empire during the Ottoman Campaign to conquer Cyprus Island. In this battle, Don Miguel of Cervantes Saavedra (1547-1616), the famous author of “The Ingenious Hidalgo Don Quijote of La Mancha” (the most renowned literary accomplishment of Spain), lost the movement in one of his hands and thus acquiring the nickname of “the one-armed man from Lepanto.”

The comfortable and charming Lepanto Hotel was founded February 15, 1983. During these years of hard work and dedication, our Mexico City hotel in the Historic Center has discovered with much joy that our efforts have resulted in much success. Some amenities we offer include cable TV in luxury rooms and suites, dining onsite and a business center for corporate travelers. Our objective at Lepanto Hotel is to have our guests enjoy their comfort at the best prices. This Zocalo hotel is a magnificent option for your next stay as we offer welcoming accommodations and incredible amenities that will make you enjoy your stay.

Hotel Lepanto is conveniently located in the Historical Center of Mexico City, very close to "El Caballito" in Avenida Reforma, Bellas Artes and the Zócalo, which means that all the main attractions of Mexico City—historical buildings, business centers, cultural events, shopping, theatres and cinema—are close at hand.
